Malaria, snakes, misery: Pakistan flood victims wait for elusive aid

ISLAMABAD — Millions of people affected by the floods that overwhelmed Pakistan in July and August are still not getting proper assistance, with the cash-strapped government counting on foreign aid that remains hard to come by.

Now, authorities and aid groups are facing pleas to help as many people as they can before winter sets in.
