When Donald left the White House after his first term as president in 2021, Ivanka made it clear that she would not be involved in politics anymore moving forward. Nobody knows the exact reason for her desire to avoid the spotlight during the campaign, and her silence has forced her husband, Jared Kushner, to speak on her behalf.
Talking to the New York Times, Kushner said that Ivanka decided that when she exited Washington, she was leaving the political chapter of her life behind, calling her “consistent” in that decision. He went on to say that they were rooting for Donald and proud of him, but Ivanka’s actions seem to say something different is happening behind the scenes, and it’s becoming pretty obvious to the public.
