His most dramatic transformation was for the film The Dallas Buyer’s Club. In the film, he plays a man named Ron Woodroof who gets diagnosed with AIDs that later ravages his body. To illustrate those physical effects, Matthew McConaughey lost plenty of weight, looking frighteningly thin.
