Summary

Happiness is a new normal city thriller that depicts the lives of those isolated in an apartment, a miniature version of a hierarchical society, set in the near future. The cracks and fears that develop when a large city apartment where various groups of humans live is sealed off with a new infectious disease, and the struggle for survival and psychological warfare are carefully drawn.

Expectations are focused on the sensation that will be created by director Ahn Gil-ho and writer Han Sang-woon, who reunited after ‘WATCHER’, which took the psychological thriller genre to a new level.

The combination of Han Hyo-joo, Park Hyung-sik, and Jo Woo-jin is the biggest reason for waiting for ‘Happiness’.

Han Hyo-joo , who returned with the relentless ‘Girl Crush’, shows off her acting transformation into ‘Yoon Sae-Bom’, who is a bold and skillful police ace.

Park Hyung-sik plays the role of ‘Jung Yi-hyeon’, a clever and honest detective in the violent crime squad. As a former baseball player, he’s not afraid to use his body, and he’s a ‘Born to B’ detective who is also good at battling with opponents. After experiencing an unforgettable happening in high school, Lee Hyun Jung and Sae Bom Yoon became friends for 13 years. Due to Yoon Sae-bom’s unexpected suggestion, the two live in a house and fight to survive in a closed apartment.

Here, Jo Woo-jin, who has a strong inner strength, adds power to the breakdown with ‘Han Tae-seok’, who holds the ‘key’ of the mysterious infectious disease situation. In the chaos caused by the new infectious disease, attention is also focused on the activities of the three people who do not lower their vigilance and continue to cooperate. I wonder if they will be able to overcome the crisis and regain the ‘happiness’ that will never come again.
