Does Barron Trump Have A Social Media Presence

Posted on

Barron Trump has been in the headlines a lot these days—the latest topic? His digital footprint. Children of presidents in today’s day and age face a different kind of scrutiny these days. While first kids have always had a tough time with the paparazzi on their backs, attention on social media brings a whole new kind of spotlight.

For this reason, former First Lady Michelle Obama decided to restrict Malia and Sasha Obama’s social media use with strict rules. Neither of them appears to have active public social media accounts. Former POTUS Barack Obama also taught his dad a lesson when she filmed her dad talking about social media and posted it on Snapchat for her friends to see.

But the question remains: Does Barron have a social media account? And if so, what will that mean when he becomes a first son again after Donald’s re-election?

It does appear that Barron has accounts on X, previously known as Twitter. The account @BARRONTRUMP was first created back in August 2012. However, it’s entirely blank. We’re talking no bio, profile pic, or header image. Another account, @BarronXSpaces, was made later on, in August 2024. Although it does have a profile pic and a bio containing an American flag, there aren’t any posts.

Oddly enough, Barron’s mother, Melania, follows both of these accounts. This leads us to believe that both of these accounts are legitimate Barron accounts, albeit inactive. Melania even tagged the account @BARRONTRUMP previously when tagging her son in photos. It’s likely that Melania created this account since Barron was just six years old in 2012.
