Football (or soccer, if you’re nasty) is usually considered a men’s game, but we all know everyone can be good at it. Professional football players, both male and female, are known to be exceptionally rich and good-looking. That’s just a fact. So why don’t we talk about one of the hottest female football players out there – the Swiss sensation Alisha Lehmann? At just 24, she’s already a household name, playing for Aston Villa, but Alisha is much more than just her uncanny dribbling and shooting skills.

Early Days
Alisha was born on January 21, 1999, in Switzerland. We don’t know much about her closest family as she keeps that on the down low, but she has at least two siblings: a sister named Shawna and a mysterious brother. Alisha fell in love with football when she was five after being inspired by her brother and cousins. Her parents weren’t too sold on the idea of a girl playing football at first, but their attitude changed when she started playing for the “Young Boys” team.
Football Career
In 2016, Lehmann kicked off her pro career with “Young Boys” back in Switzerland. In 2017, she debuted for the main Swiss national team at the age of 18 and has since played in 47 games, scoring a whopping 19 goals.
Fast forward to 2018, she put two in the net at the World Youth Championship, catching the attention of West Ham’s manager. Shortly after, in August of the same year, she signed a contract with them and officially joined the Women’s Super League. Alisha Lehmann’s time at West Ham, during which she scored eight goals and ensured the FC got a spot at the tournament final, was the biggest highlight of her career.
